RPG Item: Malaba's Healing Bath

Malaba's Healing Bath is a rare and highly sought after magical item among those in need of healing. The bath is made of copper and is intricately detailed, weighing 70 kilograms when empty. It is said to have been created by the legendary healer, Malaba, who was known throughout the land for her exceptional healing abilities.

According to legend, Malaba was a powerful cleric who lived in a remote mountain village. She was known for her kindness and her ability to cure even the most severe of illnesses and injuries. As her reputation grew, people from far and wide came to seek her help. To accommodate the increasing number of patients, Malaba created the Healing Bath, imbuing it with her powerful magic.

The Healing Bath quickly became famous, with tales of its healing power spreading throughout the land. People would travel for days to reach the mountain village, where they would be immersed in the bath and cured of their ailments. Malaba became known as the greatest healer of her time, and her fame continued to grow.

However, Malaba's powers also attracted the attention of a dark sorcerer who sought to use her magic for his own evil purposes. The sorcerer attacked the mountain village, killing Malaba and destroying much of the village. The Healing Bath was one of the few items that survived the attack and was passed down through the generations, eventually finding its way into the hands of those who would use it for good.

Today, the Healing Bath is a rare and highly sought after magical item. It is said that only a few of these baths still exist, and that they are guarded by powerful healers who are keen to keep them out of the wrong hands. The Healing Bath remains a testament to the power of Malaba's magic and her legacy as one of the greatest healers of all time.

In order to use the full potential of Malaba's Healing Bath, it must be orientated North/South and filled with clean water at a temperature between 40-42°C. The person must be 75% submerged in the water for the magic to take effect. Once in the bath, the water is imbued with powerful healing magic, restoring the person's health, vitality and curing them of a range of ailments including blindness, deafness, curses, poisonings, and petrification.

It is important to note that any attempts to change the size or weight of the bath may cause the magic to fail permanently. In this situation, it is necessary to roll a D20 every hour the bath is in its altered state. If the value is lower or equal to the amount of hours the bath has been altered, the bath will immediately lose all its magical power and a large crack will appear down its length.

The healing power of Malaba's Healing Bath is unparalleled. It has the ability to cure even the most severe of injuries and illnesses, making it a valuable asset to those in need of healing. The bath has a rich history, with tales of its use stretching back centuries.
